Khrizta and Cheyne – Burnham Grove Elopement Wedding

When we caught up with K + C to chat about their day we instantly felt the connection between them. We talked for hours at our local coffee shop and left feeling like we had just caught up with friends we hadn’t seen in years.

For these guys, their day was all about the connection with their family and spending moments together. They had the sweetest wedding party filled with all the littles from their families and even made a special space for their fur baby Oreo to be included.

They had a beautiful ceremony with the one and only Del from Wedding Dells sharing their story in the secret garden with Oreo eagerly waiting his moment to shine and hand over the rings that had been tied to his collar.

After the ceremony, we gathered everyone for some quick snaps before we headed out to capture some fun with the rest of the wedding party before we lead K + C away for some sneaky portraits of just the two of them.

Honestly, nothing made my heart happier than seeing these two relax into each other and breathe in those first moments alone as husband and wife.

When headed back the Burnham team had created a stunning long family-style table for lunch with gorgeous styling by Sarah Jay and Co and scrumptious food from The chef and I catering.

As K+ C sat at the head of the table with all their guest we could see exactly why they had chosen to share their moments the way they did.

A few rounds of heartfelt words in the form of speeches and a cake later, and we found ourselves in ready to watch them slow down time with their first dance. I think my most favourite moments happened as K’s Dad proudly stood back capturing their dance on his phone and as C pulled K in and they looked at each other like the whole world had just disappeared and it was just the two of them. Even now as I type I catch myself smiling at how beautiful this moment was.

We always say “Do your day your way!” and we’re so freaking glad these guys did because it was absolutely perfect in every way.
