Danielle and Jake – Grow Wild Flower Farm Wedding

When we first caught up with D+ J for their engagement session we knew instantly that they are our kind of people and we were going to have an absolute blast capturing their day – they did not disappoint!

They planned their day around the gorgeous grounds at Grow Wild Flower Farm with all their favourite people and things. Mother Nature didn’t get the memo and sent in some rain earlier in the day but being the beautiful humans they are Danielle just said we’ll move the ceremony inside the barn and let’s roll with it!

The team did an amazing job creating a beautiful space for their ceremony inside the barn and the skies cleared just in time for us to head out and capture some moments with the wedding party and D+J.
I think their reception will always be one of our favs because it was filled with the most heartfelt (and hilarious) speeches, so much love from the heart and wicked dance moves!

D+J secretly filmed their speeches (separately to keep it a surprise for each other too) with us during their engagement session and guys I have to tell you it was such a great freaking moment on the night. They didn’t need to stress about getting up for their speech and their family and friends loved it!
Even better was that even though they kept their speeches a secret from each other they both spoke about the same moments and shared the same stories, and when you see the reactions we captured on the night you’ll know just how powerful these moments were for them.

The night was capped off with beverages flowing, a doughnut tower cake, cornettos for dessert and everybody shaking what their Mumma gave them on the dance floor until the very last song of the night by Tannah and Jordan from Oberon Lane.

D+J you are absolute gems and we couldn’t be more chuffed that you picked us to capture your day.
